We at the Texas Bloodhound Emergency Response Association provide search dogs to assist local and federal police agencies with the location of missing people.

Note: All services are offered free of charge, and we are liability insured.

Mantrailing

Mantrailing is a search method designed to locate fugitives, lost or missing people by using specially trained search dogs. The dogs are taught to use their nose and natural instinct to follow a trail, find and I.D. the person they are searching for. In short we teach the dogs how to play a great game of hide and seek.

School Programs

One of the best ways to protect a child is to teach them how not to get lost. Our Sit and Stay progam is great for class rooms and after school progams. Kids get to pet the dogs and learn about staying safe. Call for more information.

Training & Certifications

We understand, some agencies, both public and private sector, are more comfortable utilizing a K9 team which has demonstrated a certain standard of proficiency. Based on this understanding, the evaluations administered by the TBTD are given to assist those agencies, and K9 teams that need an outside entity to determine the knowledge of the handler as well as the ability of the K9.

Texas Bloodhound Trailing Dogs is currently involved in obtaining it’s 501 c3 tax exempt status. Soon all donations given to us for the advancement in SAR Dog training can be a tax wright off. More to come.
